PG Diploma in Computer Science and Applications (PGDCA) Programme is a one year full time post graduate diploma programme. The Programme prepares the students to seek compatible job opportunities in the industry. The approach is to prepare students from diverse fields in developing skills related to IT and understanding the concepts related to Computers and its application which will help them to pursue promising career in software industry. The programme is designed to develop the programming and analytical ability of the students. The Syllabus of the programme is intensified with the subjects like Advanced Java, PHP, Software Tools, RDBMS, Web Designing and a mini project.


Graduates of Arts & Commerce stream who wish to make a long term career in Information Technology can undergo this diploma course and have strong foundation for pursuing masters in Information Technology. As the use of computers and computer based systems is growing in various sectors of world economy, it is apparent that there will be need for many people who would be having combined knowledge of computer programming with other disciplines.
